Housekeeping Manager

About Us

A well-established organisation within the Integrated Infrastructure and Property Services (IIPS) environment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead and oversee all housekeeping operations. This role is ideal for a candidate with a proven track record in managing housekeeping teams and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Manage and supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, and ensure timely procurement.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Maintenance, Front Office) to address guest needs and operational requirements.
• Oversee the budget for the housekeeping department and control expenses.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping services and resolve issues promptly.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and new cleaning technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and sanitation standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in inventory management and budgeting.
