About

Shores of Hope is hiring a Housing Program Manager to support our Transitional Housing Program serving homeless youth and adults in Yolo County. This position will report to the West Sacramento office.

We specialize in intensive case management and are looking to grow into new funding opportunities. This is a great role for someone who wants to make an impact while helping expand housing programs.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee daily operations of housing programs for rapid rehousing, homeless prevention, and Transitional housing.
  • Supervise case managers and support high-quality, client‑centered services
  • Supervise client recruitment, intake and services making sure they align with Shores of Hope and funding guidelines
  • Manage program reporting and documentation
  • Ensure accurate HMIS data entry and reporting
  • Support grant writing and identify new funding opportunities
  • Build relationships with community partners and landlords

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years experience in housing, homelessness services, or nonprofit programs
  • 3+ years supervisory experience required
  • HMIS experience highly desired
  • Experience with local, state and federal strongly preferred
  • Experience with tenant and property laws strongly preferred
  • Interest or experience in grant writing / funding development
  • Experience working with at risk populations including victims of crime and foster youth
  • Ability to design, implement, and evaluate housing programs.
  • People with a management style that is characterized by initiative, honesty, creativity, and strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities

Livescan clearance, drug testing, and criminal background checks are required pre‑employment.
