Ready to develop your expertise in HR Analytics and Total Rewards within a global company?
Lagardère Travel Retail is a global leader in travel retail, with Germany playing a key role in our European footprint. You will join a leading player in the German travel retail market, employing around 3,000 people and operating approximately 130 stores across airports and major railway stations.
We are currently leading a transformation to align our compensation structures with the EU Pay Transparency Directive while strengthening our HR analytics and controlling capabilities.
After a short onboarding with our Global HR team in France, you will join the German HR team, reporting to the HR Director Germany, and contribute to high-impact initiatives at both local and Group level.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Contribute to the development of a harmonized Total Rewards framework
- Support the implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive
- Conduct benefits cost-efficiency analyses
- Help set up and develop people analytics and HR controlling capabilities
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Citizen of a European Economic Area country other than Germany, as VIE regulations require candidates to carry out their assignment outside their home country.
- No previous VIE experience.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
- Master’s degree from a business school, university, or equivalent.
- While we are open to various fields, degrees with a strong quantitative focus are preferred, such as Human Resources (with a focus on controlling/analytics), Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or Controlling.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Numerical & Analytical Aptitude: You have a strong affinity for numbers and feel comfortable working with data. You enjoy analyzing information, identifying patterns, and solving problems with a detail-oriented approach.
- Relevant Experience: A first successful experience in an analytical role is a strong advantage (e.g., HR Controlling, Compensation & Benefits, Financial Controlling, or data analytics).
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. German is a strong plus to facilitate collaboration with local teams.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and the ability to manage large datasets.
MONTHLY ALLOWANCE
- €3,000–3,500 in line with the current Business France VIE allowance scale.
