The Role

We are looking for an HR & Talent Manager to run Bald’s recruitment engine and support the building of the operational HR systems that enable a growing global team. This role combines talent acquisition, HR operations and compliance. You will ensure that Bald hires exceptional people efficiently while implementing the systems and processes that allow the organisation to scale smoothly.

You will work closely with the Director of People & Culture and leadership team, owning the day-to-day execution of recruitment and HR operations while helping improve the infrastructure that supports our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, improving processes and supporting teams in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Own the recruitment process from job posting through to offer, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from start to finish
  • Manage hiring pipelines and candidate tracking, keeping everything organised, visible and moving
  • Coordinate interview processes with hiring managers across teams and time zones
  • Support the creation and refinement of job descriptions to ensure clarity and alignment
  • Manage external recruiters and talent partners where needed
  • Build candidate pipelines for key roles to reduce reliance on reactive hiring
  • Continuously improve hiring speed, structure and overall candidate experience

HR Operations

  • Implement and manage HR systems and tools that support the team at scale
  • Maintain employee records, contracts and HR documentation with accuracy and consistency
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a strong employee experience
  • Support performance review cycles and broader HR workflows
  • Develop and maintain internal HR policies and documentation
  • Continuously improve operational processes related to hiring and employee management

Compliance & Employment Practices

  • Maintain employment documentation and policies across multiple jurisdictions
  • Ensure HR processes align with employment law and best practices
  • Support contract management for both employees and contractors
  • Coordinate with legal advisors when needed

What We’re Looking For

  • 6–10 years of experience in HR, People Operations or Talent Management
  • Strong experience running recruitment processes end-to-end
  • Experience implementing HR systems or building operational processes
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
  • Experience in startups, creative agencies or high-growth environments preferred
  • Strong organisational and operational skills, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote, global team
