About the role

Position Overview

At Spectrum Autism Services, we are dedicated to helping children with Autism reach their fullest developmental potential. As the HR Associate/Recruiter, you will play a key role in hiring and onboarding employees across all Spectrum sites. This full‑time remote position requires a dedicated professional workspace and reliable availability Monday–Friday from 9:00am–1:00pm and 2:00pm–6:00pm EST. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Administrator, you will market employment opportunities, manage job postings, review candidates, conduct phone/virtual interviews, and support special projects as part of our Administrative Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify employment opportunities to expand the candidate pipeline.
  • Ensure quality content and portray Spectrum as an industry leader on various hiring platforms (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake).
  • Advertise, solicit, vet, and screen prospective employees nationwide.
  • Schedule and conduct phone and/or virtual interviews, and notify candidates of their employment status.
  • Maintain regular communication with new hires during their first 90 days.
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings, taking detailed notes.
  • Respond to written communications with accurate information within 48 business hours.
  • Audit HR performance management systems and assist with digital file and schedule management.
  • Support special projects as assigned by the HR Administrator.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to upholding Spectrum's mission and values.
  • Passion for improving the lives of children and their families.
  • Ability to serve as a role model in line with the “Spirit of Spectrum”.
  • 1+ years of healthcare recruiting experience for a medium‑sized organization.
  • Excellent communication skills across oral, written, and in‑person interactions.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
