Clearance Requirement

Must Haves
- Active Top-Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or additional years of experience to supplement degree
- 5+ years of DoD Human Resources experience supporting units, commanders, and/or mission readiness at the program management office level
- Proficiency utilizing Jira and/or Confluence for workflow tracking and documentation management
- Proficiency working within Power BI and Excel
- Strong written communication, technical editing, and attention to detail
- Strong communications skills and comfortability interfacing with government customers
Day-to-Day
- Serve as a trusted functional support resource for senior DoD/Air Force commands and general officer–level headquarters
- Develop, review, and manage government direct hiring packages, including coordination with HR, acquisition, and command stakeholders
- Maintain and analyze Unit Management Documents (UMDs) to support manpower planning, workforce decisions, and leadership briefings
- Produce and edit high‑level strategic briefings, decision papers, and executive‑level documentation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with mission objectives
- Apply technical editing expertise to complex workforce, cyber, and operational content—demonstrating functional understanding, not just formatting
- Utilize Power BI, Excel (including Pivot Tables), and other tools to develop workforce analytics, dashboards, and leadership‑ready briefing materials
- Support workforce and mission planning within a cyber operations environment, ensuring HR, manpower, and operational data are accurately represented
- Leverage Jira, Confluence, and related collaboration tools to track actions, manage documentation, and support cross‑functional coordination
- Interface with acquisition, contracting, and program stakeholders, applying acquisition knowledge to hiring actions, workforce alignment, and mission support
- Operate independently on behalf of commands, demonstrating judgment, discretion, and accountability in sensitive environments
IG Consultants
While on contract, you will be an Insight Global employee working for a particular company/end client on W2.
- Pay Day: Payroll is processed every Friday and paid one week in arrears.
- Holidays: Consultants will receive 7 paid holidays over the course of their contract.
- Time Off: In addition to the paid holidays, consultants are eligible for 5 paid days off (PTO) during their contract term. Aside from these allotted paid days, compensation is provided only for hours worked. Paid sick leave beyond this PTO is not offered unless required by applicable law.
