About the role

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and energetic Recruiter to support daily recruitment and staffing operations. This role involves handling a high volume of phone calls, assisting walk-in job seekers, screening candidates, arranging placements, and coordinating with both employees and internal teams.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable with a fast-paced work environment, frequent communication, and handling multiple requests at the same time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and make phone calls to candidates, employees, and clients as needed.
  • Greet and assist walk-in job seekers in a professional manner.
  • Screen candidates and identify suitable employees based on client requirements.
  • Submit qualified candidates to clients for available job opportunities.
  • Coordinate employee placements and arrange employees to start work.
  • Provide clear instructions to employees regarding job duties, work locations, schedules, and start dates.
  • Answer employee questions related to work schedules, job assignments, attendance, payroll, and other general matters.
  • Collect and maintain complete employee information and required documents.
  • Communicate with the finance/payroll team regarding employee information, hours, payroll issues, and payment arrangements.
  • Assist with payroll distribution and related employee follow-up when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate information, placements, and communication.
  • Support other recruitment and staffing tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, staffing, customer service, or office administration is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls and daily communication.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Able to multitask and respond quickly to urgent requests.
  • Responsible, patient, and able to deal with different types of candidates and employees.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools.

Pay

$18.00-$22.00 per hour
