About the role

About This Project

We're seeking a skilled HubSpot CMS developer with both design sensibility and strong technical debugging skills for a two-part project:

Part 1: Page Migration & Redesign (30‑40% of project)

  • Migrate 2 existing pages (Foundation and Careers) to our new site theme
  • Adapt content to fit within our established design system and theme guidelines
  • Work from stakeholder direction that may be high‑level—you'll need to interpret requirements and make sound design decisions
  • Deliver pages that are visually cohesive with our new brand direction

Part 2: Bug Fixing & QA Support (60‑70% of project)

  • Assist our in‑house developer with resolving bugs identified during testing
  • Focus primarily on frontend/visual issues
  • Debug existing code carefully without disrupting functioning features
  • All changes require review and approval from our staff developer before implementation

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience with HubSpot CMS, custom modules, and themes
  • Strong frontend development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Design eye and ability to create visually appealing layouts
  • Systematic debugging approach and attention to detail
  • Ability to work from limited specifications and ask clarifying questions
  • Experience collaborating closely with other developers
  • Clear communication skills for daily progress updates

Working Style

  • You'll work in close collaboration with our staff developer
  • Regular communication and code reviews are essential
  • Methodical, careful approach required—we value quality over speed
  • Must be comfortable receiving feedback and iterating

  1. Portfolio Examples: Share 2‑3 examples of HubSpot CMS pages you've designed or migrated, particularly those where you had design input.
