Job Summary
The Human Resource Generalist at CTS serves as the primary point of contact for HR and recruiting, supporting employees and leadership across a range of human resources functions.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation, including processing new hires in UKG and maintaining new hire documentation.
- Maintain employee access systems, including facility security codes and fuel account access.
- Support logistics such as booking travel accommodations for new hires and drivers as needed.
- Assist with recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, school outreach, and maintaining candidate pipelines.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes using HRIS platforms.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS/UKG and ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
- Administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave of absence, workers’ compensation, and employee recognition initiatives.
- Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving workplace concerns, and assisting with investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Track and ensure compliance with required training, certifications, and continuing education.
- Assist in planning employee events, milestone programs, and engagement initiatives.
- Provide guidance to managers and staff on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, OSHA standards, and company policies.
- Support performance management, employee evaluations, and training and development initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- At least 1 year of HR experience preferred
- SPHR certification is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged sitting and computer use
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Ability to access various areas of company facilities
Pay
- $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
