Join our client as an experienced Human Resources Project Manager to spearhead the HR workstream of a critical enterprise transformation aimed at integrating a newly acquired business unit. You'll play a pivotal role in managing comprehensive project plans, overseeing HR systems, facilitating change management, and ensuring seamless coordination among various teams, including Delivery, Platform, Vendor, and Architecture. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and risk management skills, along with a proven track record of successfully driving large-scale programs in agile, product-centric environments. Familiarity with software development processes, APIs, and tools like Clarity PPM and Workday is highly advantageous.

Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans with clear milestones and tasks.
  • Define timelines, resources, deliverables, and responsibilities across workstreams.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to risk and issue management through RAID logs.
  • Drive team alignment with project requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensure project objectives align with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Act as the primary liaison among HR, Delivery, Platform, Vendor, Architecture, and other teams.
  • Facilitate communication with internal controls, InfoSec, and delivery teams.
  • Foster a collaborative environment for effective project execution.
  • Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and interlocks effectively.
  • Coordinate with internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and communicate mitigation strategies to leadership.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including meeting notes, RAID logs, and status reports.
  • Track and report on project metrics, outcomes, and stakeholder updates.
  • Manage project budgets and resource allocations efficiently.
  • Provide financial reporting and forecasting to leadership.

Experience Requirements

  • 5-10 years of project management experience in HR and enterprise transformation roles.
  • Proven success in leading large-scale enterprise projects with multiple complex components.
  • Experience managing software development projects in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Background in IT as a programmer or software engineer, with knowledge of APIs (preferred).
  • Strong financial and risk management expertise.
  • Experience with Clarity PPM (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Workday (preferred).
  • Experience working with global teams (preferred).
  • In-depth understanding of HR systems, compliance, and change management.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, product-focused operating models, and Scrum.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset focused on execution.

Education Requirements

  • PMP or equivalent certification (preferred).
