Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and people-focused HR Recruiting Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment while supporting core human resources functions. This role plays a key part in attracting top talent, supporting employees, and ensuring HR processes run smoothly and compliantly.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for open positions, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring needs.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future roles.
- Coordinate interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Support onboarding and new-hire orientation.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
- Assist with employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
- Support benefits administration for new hires.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support training, engagement, and employee development initiatives.
Required Skills/Abilities
- 2–5 years of experience in recruiting
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with applicant tracking and HRIS platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- At least two years’ HR related experience required.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Skills/Abilities
- Experience recruiting across multiple departments or roles
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prior recruiting in the dealership industry is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
