Human Resources Recruiting Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and people-focused HR Recruiting Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment while supporting core human resources functions. This role plays a key part in attracting top talent, supporting employees, and ensuring HR processes run smoothly and compliantly.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for open positions, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring needs.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future roles.
• Coordinate interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Support onboarding and new-hire orientation.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
• Assist with employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
• Support benefits administration for new hires.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Support training, engagement, and employee development initiatives.

Required Skills/Abilities

• 2–5 years of experience in recruiting
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience with applicant tracking and HRIS platforms
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• At least two years’ HR related experience required.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

Preferred Skills/Abilities

• Experience recruiting across multiple departments or roles
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Prior recruiting in the dealership industry is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
