About the Role

The HR Specialist plays a critical role in supporting high-volume recruiting and HR operations for a fast-growing bakery café organization. This position partners closely with leadership to attract top talent, manage full-cycle hiring, and support smooth HR operations while maintaining a positive candidate and employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for support office and operational roles across multiple departments
• Source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience
• Extend job offers and support pre-employment onboarding
• Maintain applicant tracking system and HR records accurately
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and priorities
• Track and report hiring metrics (time-to-fill, time-to-hire)
• Assist with day-to-day HR inquiries, audits, reporting, and process improvements
• Support workforce planning, staffing strategies, and hiring best practices
• Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of HR, recruiting, or talent acquisition experience (hospitality or retail preferred)
• Experience in high-volume hiring and fast-paced environments
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Harri experience a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple openings while maintaining attention to detail
• High emotional intelligence, teamwork orientation, and a people-first mindset
• Passion for connecting people to roles where they can succeed

Compensation & Benefits
