We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established mechanical contractor based in Queens, NY, seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected contractor delivering commercial projects throughout the five boroughs of New York City.

We are looking for a true all-rounder with strong experience managing HVAC projects from pre-construction through closeout, with a well-rounded background across both piping and sheet metal systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple HVAC/mechanical projects across the 5 boroughs
• Oversee projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, field teams, engineers, and suppliers
• Review drawings, specifications, submittments, and project schedules
• Manage procurement, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
• Conduct site visits and support field operations as needed
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and performance standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Project Manager within commercial construction
• Strong mechanical background with exposure to both piping and sheet metal
• Experience delivering projects in NYC preferred
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and fast-paced project environments
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, installation methods, and project controls
