Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Portland, ME, for an HVAC Project Manager. The HVAC Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of HVAC and refrigeration projects. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with clients and internal teams, managing project timelines and budgets, procuring necessary materials, supervising installation teams, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. The role also involves performing quality control checks, resolving any project-related issues, and preparing progress reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Project management skills, including experience managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Technical expertise in HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution to address project-related challenges.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards, codes, and regulations related to HVAC and construction projects.
• Proficient in using project management software and other relevant tools.
• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working in the HVAC industry or construction management is required, with five or more years of proven expertise as a project manager.
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve project goals.
