HVAC Project Manager for Commercial and Industrial Projects

Position Overview

As the Project Manager, you will take the reins of mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through to closeout. This role blends strong leadership abilities with financial management skills and technical coordination, working closely with internal teams including engineering, fabrication, and field operations.

Projects will include commercial buildings, large manufacturing facilities, warehouses, cold storage, distribution centers, and hospitality developments, with values reaching up to $10M+.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, and closeout
• Manage budgets and control costs through accurate forecasting
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payment applications
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in commercial mechanical project management
• Proven track record in managing large, complex HVAC and plumbing projects
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling and financial tracking
• Experience with project management and estimating software
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
