MOHR Talent

We’re partnering with a respected engineering firm that has built a strong reputation delivering complex municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Their pipeline is strong, their client relationships are long-standing, and they’re expanding their senior leadership bench.
They are specifically looking for someone with a heavy water / wastewater background — not surface-level exposure. This role is built for an engineer who has spent years in the trenches of treatment plants, pump stations, distribution systems, collection systems, and large-scale municipal infrastructure upgrades.
If you understand regulatory environments, capital improvement programs, and how to manage multi-million-dollar public works projects — this is your lane.

- Deliver projects in alignment with scope, schedule, and budget commitments
- Develop technical approaches, scopes of work, and proposal narratives
- Write and manage project budgets and financial forecasts
- Serve as primary point of contact for municipal clients
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and field inspections
- Identify and cultivate additional work opportunities within existing accounts
- Support business development efforts including networking and proposal pursuits
- Coordinate internal multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth execution
- Minimize project risk through strong oversight and quality control
- Assist the Department Director with strategic growth initiatives

- PE License strongly preferred
- 8+ years of experience in construction services for a wide variety of services including water and wastewater planning and design
- Deep experience serving municipal clients
- Heavy background in water and wastewater planning, design, and construction services

Who This Role Is Built For

- Wants to move beyond just technical execution and influence client growth
- Can manage staff while maintaining strong municipal relationships
- Is comfortable being accountable for performance and revenue

- $120,000–$150,000 base (flexible higher for the right candidate)
