Hybrid Site Reliability Engineer

Become a key player as a Site Reliability Engineer in Toronto, Ontario, operating in a hybrid model with four onsite days weekly. Drive cloud application management and automation while engaging in vendor software implementation.

This contract role lasts one year with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position. We're seeking a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in cloud environments like Azure and a robust understanding of Dev Ops concepts. The individual will work within a small team, focusing on deploying and troubleshooting critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support new vendor software implementation in a complex environment

• Manage and operate applications within Azure services

• Automate processes using Power Shell, Python, and scripts

• Ensure effective configuration management with tools like Terraform

• Collaborate within a small team to solve multifaceted issues

Requirements:

• 8–10 years of senior-level experience

• Proficient in Windows administration and database management

• Strong skills in Power Shell and Azure services

• Familiar with CI/CD practices and tooling

• Technical degree or equivalent certification
