About Us

Responsibilities

• As an IAM Engineer / IAM Specialist (m/f/d) at the Essen or Muttenz location in the IT Service Center department, you will take over the operation and technical support of our company-wide IAM platform, ensuring secure, stable, and efficient access for internal and external users.
• You will work confidently in our Microsoft-based IAM environment (Active Directory, Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, B2B/B2C) and reliably implement functional and technical requirements.
• You will integrate new applications into our IAM landscape, using modern authentication and authorization standards such as SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect.
• You will independently automate identity lifecycle processes such as Joiner-Mover-Leaver and ensure a transparent, efficient, and consistent IAM environment through monitoring, reporting, and audits.
• You will implement role and authorization concepts developed jointly with the Platform Owner and the business units, ensuring clear and traceable access control.

• You communicate demanding IAM topics appropriately for the audience and communicate confidently in German and English.
• A degree or vocational training in IT is a plus. However, your practical experience in the conception, further development, and operation of IAM systems with Entra ID in combination with Active Directory is decisive. Career changers with many years of IAM practice and relevant further training are also very welcome.
• You have in-depth knowledge of PowerShell and the Microsoft Graph API, especially for automation and scripting.
• Ideally, experience with GDPR, ISO 27001, or SOX, as well as know-how in common authentication and authorization methods and role and authorization concepts, round off your profile.
