Commitment
- Operating, designing, optimizing, and further developing network and server infrastructures
- Engineering and maintaining WAN/LAN/WLAN/VLAN architectures, including firewalls, DMZ environments, and VPN solutions
- Operating and expanding virtualized server environments
- Implementing IT security policies, technical concepts, and awareness initiatives
- Managing certificates and applying proven encryption technologies
- Working with modern security tools and concepts like Vulnerability Management Endpoint Security, and OT/Network Security.
- Ensuring stable, secure network and infrastructure operation, including analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Acting as a central partner for internal departments, IT teams, and external service providers in all network- and security-related matters
- Participating in IT infrastructure and security projects as well as contributing to architectural decisions and technical improvements
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in computer science (systems engineering/platform development) or higher technical education (HF/FH)
- Strong interest and a solid foundational understanding of network engineering
- Ideally, experience working in a production or industrial environment
- Experience or strong motivation in IT security, network design, and enterprise infrastructure management
- Experience with Microsoft Server technologies (Windows, Exchange, SQL, ADFS); Linux knowledge is an advantage
- Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure and Microsoft 365
- Experience with VoIP/PBX/UCC systems is beneficial
- Openness and motivation to continuously learn new tools, technologies, and security solutions
- Strong analytical and structured working style, paired with proactive problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, customer orientation, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and external partners
