- Long‑term contract (18 + months) with a well‑known financial services company that has been operating for over 150 years.
- Hybrid position available in Chandler, AZ; Irving, TX; Charlotte, NC; Des Moines, IA; and Minneapolis, MN.

- Part of the Enterprise Middleware Services App/Web team, which builds, engineers, and evangelizes middleware, web, and app products for the technology organization.
Requirements
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including leadership.
- Strong team or technical leadership experience.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- 10 + years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, education).
- 6 + years of hands‑on experience at scale with Middleware administration (Tomcat, Apache, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Liberty, IIS) – including build, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, deployment, configuration, patching, and compliance.
- 6 + years of Middleware production support on Linux and Windows platforms.
- Experience with SSL certificate management.
- Experience using Ansible jobs.
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Splunk.
- Experience writing Shell/Python scripts.
Desired Skills
- Strong team or technical leadership experience.
- Experience supporting an enterprise‑level environment.
- Understanding of compliance and risk‑management requirements for the supported systems.
- Ability to provide implementation support for key risk initiatives.
- Experience with WebSphere, WebSphere Liberty, and WebLogic.
- Familiarity with Incident Management systems (ServiceNow preferred).
- Experience monitoring alerts, batch failures, and ServiceNow queues.
- Ability to handle outage calls efficiently, triage issues, and resolve them.
- Experience with Ansible.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic Java application server issues.
Responsibilities
- Outline and implement product upgrades.
- Contribute to analysis of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices.
- Lead high‑level technical concepts spanning technology and business.
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, and design and test solutions.
- Generate documentation, operational policies, procedures, and playbooks.
- Employ monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana) for business application and operations teams.
- Contribute to testing of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements.
- Direct daily risk and control flow of compliance, focusing on policies and procedures.
- Lead provisioning of builds, configurations, and runtime infrastructure for middleware products.
- Ensure teams meet security, reliability, monitoring, and support standards through daily risk and control oversight.
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Lead teams during enterprise incidents, focusing on application and web stability as part of an on‑call rotation.
