With your experience, know-how, and passion, you can contribute to the following topics and tasks with us:

• Implementation of laser technology topics, taking into account new developments and technical, financial, temporal, and qualitative project goals
• Close coordination with the Chief Engineer (w/m/d), program management, and other project participants to ensure synergies between laser projects
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining customer contacts with regard to project matters
• Support in the acquisition of technology topics
• Monitoring of market developments regarding laser effectors and technologies, especially new approaches such as innovative coupling concepts
• Monitoring of new developments for compensated laser beam propagation
• Participation in the strategic alignment of MBDA in the field of lasers and in positioning the company as a provider of laser technologies
• Technical leadership, motivation, and further development of project employees (w/m/d)
• Close coordination with the performance area regarding technical requirements, standards, and methods

What you should bring

• Completed Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or comparable qualification
• Knowledge of laser technology, laser-based measuring methods, and laser beam propagation
• Relevant experience as a (part-time) project manager, ideally in a demonstrator program
• Overview of current developments in the field of laser technologies
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken
• Efficient, effective, and goal-oriented approach to achieving project goals
• Solid understanding of governmental and military procurement processes is desirable
• Professional experience in the armed forces and/or the defense industry is desirable
• Strong team, communication, and persuasion skills, as well as assertiveness
• Diplomatic demeanor and negotiation skills in dealing with customers (w/m/d) and partners (w/m/d)
