About
We have an opportunity for a Brand Manager in the in-house marketing team of a retail company in Kimberley, Northern Cape. You will coordinate print and digital advertising, in-store promotions, loyalty campaigns, and sponsorships. Strong project management skills ensure activities are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with brand strategy.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute events including product launches, trade shows, conferences, and experiential marketing activations.
- Create high-quality content for various marketing channels including blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, press releases, and video scripts.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on marketing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, providing actionable optimisation recommendations.
- Manage brand identity and ensure consistency of messaging, visual presentation, and tone of voice across all communication materials.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, tracking expenditure and ensuring return on marketing investment is measured and maximised.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with business objectives and target audience insights.
Requirements
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously under pressure.
- For management roles, experience leading a team and managing external agencies, freelancers, and marketing budgets.
- Creativity and a passion for storytelling with ability to generate fresh ideas and innovative approaches to marketing challenges.
- A degree or diploma in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Analytical mindset with experience in interpreting marketing data, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills with the ability to create persuasive and engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, and Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
