ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is hybrid and based in our Boston office, with an in-office expectation of three days per week.
n8n is hiring an Inbound SDR to qualify and convert high-intent inbound demand into pipeline for our US sales team. You will engage prospects already exploring n8n, assess fit, create urgency, and partner with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs.
This is a high-volume, fast-paced role suited to someone early in their sales career who is curious about SaaS and technical products and wants to build a strong foundation in qualification, discovery, and pipeline generation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Qualify inbound leads and convert high-potential interest into sales opportunities
- Conduct discovery to understand each prospect's business context, technical needs, urgency, and fit
- Develop a working knowledge of n8n's automation and AI capabilities and how they apply to technical teams
- Partner with Account Executives on clean handoffs, meeting context, and next steps
- Engage prospects across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Personalize outreach based on use case, company context, and intent
- Maintain accurate Salesforce data across leads, accounts, activities, and opportunities
- Operate effectively in Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, and AI tools
- Apply coaching and performance feedback to improve qualification, objection handling, and prioritization
REQUIREMENTS
Must-haves
- Some exposure to sales, customer-facing work, or relevant internships, with clear motivation to build a SaaS sales career
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to ask thoughtful questions and explain ideas clearly
- Emotional intelligence and the ability to build rapport quickly
- Curiosity about SaaS and how technical teams solve business problems
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage follow-up and competing priorities
- Proactive ownership of preparation, learning, and continuous improvement
- Based in Boston and able to work from the office three days per week
Nice-to-haves
- Prior exposure to B2B SaaS through work, internship, or study
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, HubSpot, or similar tools
- Interest in automation, AI, developer tools, IT, DevOps, or SecOps
- Practical use of AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for research and productivity
- Prior experience with inbound leads or early-stage qualification
