INDEPENDENT SERVICES CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY - Senior Business Analyst – HRIS Transformation

KSCS is seeking a highly skilled & experienced individual to successfully lead the discovery, needs analysis and technical implementation involved in integrating available Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the implementation of a Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The Business Analyst will work closely with HR, IT, and key stakeholders to gather and document requirements, analyze current processes, support system configuration and data migration, and assist with testing and implementation. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the HRIS solution aligns with organizational needs, enhances efficiency, and supports effective data management and reporting across the organization.

Required Education & Responsibilities

  • Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst, ideally to have led HRIS or ERP selection projects.
  • Technical Compliance: Keen willingness to gain understanding of Quebec provincial payroll standards, specifically the nuance of Quebec (RL-1) and First Nations tax exemption rules.
  • Communication: Ability to translate complex policy (e.g., Personnel Policy) into strict technical requirements for software vendors.

Deliverables

  • Current & Future State Process Maps.
  • Prioritized Business Requirements Document (BRD).
  • RFP Packet including Scripted Vendor Scenarios.
  • Final Vendor Evaluation Matrix & Recommendation.
