Industrial Design Engineer (R&D Lab) / Product Designer

Working Hours: 08:30am - 06:00pm (Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities: • Design products/medical devices

• Handle/troubleshoot the industrial & mechanical designs of the project

• Streamlining the process of design concepts to manufacturing, production & assembly

• Organize projects and liaise with the internal R&D team

• Assist in engineering/manufacturing (Production/Assembly) to draw/ modify some parts drawing

• Follow up on customers’ feedback and request

• Follow up designs/projects accordingly

• Generate design documents, eg: technical drawings & design report

• Self-motivated in identifying, developing, and defining issues related to ID &MD

• Ad-hoc assignments will be assigned from time to time.

** Successful candidates will be provided on-the-job training

Requirements: • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Industrial/Product Design or Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, equivalent.

• Required Skill(s): 3D software (UG)

• Proficient with 2D Design Software (Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent.

• Familiar with various manufacturing and prototyping processes is a plus.

• with Mechanical Knowledge is a plus.

• Good verbal & written communication skills.

• Understanding & knowledge of proper and required ISO documentation.

• Comfortable to work at East area, Changi South.
