About the role
Koroyd makes the technology inside helmets that determines whether someone walks away from an impact. As the new Industrial Designer, based in Monaco, you will own products from brief to tooling-ready CAD. EUR 50,000-55,000. One WFH day per week and annual bonus. This is a new position within Koroyd's small NPD team, reporting to the NPD Manager. The Industrial Designer owns the full product development journey, from shaping briefs with customers through to tooling-ready CAD, managing timelines and technical communication at every stage. • Own ground-up helmet development from concept brief to tooling-ready CAD, managing timelines throughout. • Work directly with customers to define briefs and translate performance requirements into product architecture. • Develop parametric CAD models (SolidWorks primary) for full assemblies, with manufacturability and tolerances front of mind. • Produce concept sketches and clear visual presentations. Sketching is a core requirement, not an afterthought. • Collaborate with R&D, Test and Validation, toolmakers and the manufacturing team on prototype builds and production feasibility. KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Proven experience as an Industrial Designer, Product Designer, or NPD Designer with solid mechanical understanding. • End-to-end project delivery from concept through to tooling-ready CAD. Not handing off at the sketch stage. • Proficient in parametric CAD, ideally SolidWorks or Creo. Openness to switching packages if needed. • Direct experience with injection moulding, foam components or complex plastic assemblies. • A portfolio of shipped products showing constraints, trade-offs and production outcomes, not just rendered concepts. You must have the right to work in France. EU passport holders are strongly preferred. SALARY AND BENEFITS • EUR 50,000-55,000 • Office-based in Monaco, one day per week from home after probation • New 1,400m2 facility with dedicated lab space, impact rigs, thermal testing and 3D printing • Real career development potential: Koroyd is already modelling future headcount around this hire Koroyd has spent fifteen years building patented impact-absorption technology used in helmets across cycling, skiing, motorsport and industrial safety. Acquired by Mips in December 2025, the business now has more resource, more commercial reach and a growing pipeline without losing the small-team energy. The Industrial Designer joining now becomes part of a technically serious NPD team in a brand-new 1,400m2 Monaco facility, working with R&D, global manufacturing partners and a China-based CAD engineering team.
