Location: Lawrence, PA (Pittsburgh Area) | Work Model: Hybrid | Reports to: Senior Industrial Designer

Position Summary

Join the fastest-growing leader in the in-home secure storage market. Having secured the #1 market share position in the USA and Canada for gun safes and vaults, we are now expanding our explosive growth into the golf equipment industry under the Spalding brand. We are seeking a high-energy, hands-on Industrial Design leader to create disruptive, high-volume consumer products that lead the industry in both features and value.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Design Ideation & Execution: Create multi-level design concepts, production-ready art, 3D CAD models, and high-quality renderings for golf and secure storage products. • Speed to Market: Connect the dots between competitive analysis, design trends, and retailer requirements to drive rapid product innovation. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales to meet customer objectives, Engineering to ensure production readiness, and Marketing to uphold Visual Brand Language (VBL). • Manufacturing & Quality: Collaborate with global factory partners and QC teams to ensure best-in-class manufacturing methods and modify designs based on consumer feedback. • Process Leadership: Utilize internal development tools (DevTrax) to ensure accurate documentation and timely delivery of project milestones. • Global Support: Travel domestically and internationally (Asia) to assist in concept development, support sales visits, and manage trade show setups.

Education & Experience • Degree: Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Industrial Design. • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product design, specifically with golf hardlines, in-home secure storage, or related consumer goods. • Software Proficiency: Expert skills in Solidworks, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Keyshot. • Design Skills: Proficient in concept sketching, 2D/3D rendering, and on-product graphics. • Methodologies: Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Lean Six Sigma is preferred.

Important Requirements • Portfolio: All candidates must submit a digital portfolio or attach work samples with their resume. • Travel: Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including international trips. • Relocation: Open to candidates willing to relocate to the Lawrence/Pittsburgh, PA area.
