Industrial Designer: SolidWorks

A leading plastic manufacturing company situated in Pretoria, Gauteng is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Industrial Designer to join their team.

Responsibilities • Interact with customers during the design and development of new products • Design and drawing of new or existing products using Solid Works design software • Design and development of new products for customer related enquires • Design and development of new products for internal enquires • Setting up of master cards and work instructions for new designs • Coordinate with the sales department regarding any technical enquiries

Requirements • 3-year National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering • Solid works experience • 3 years’ experience in a similar role • Strong negotiation and selling skills • Have excellent people skills and intuitive to client’s needs • Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
