Industrial Engineer – Product Data Engineering (all genders)

As a Product Data Engineer at our client's company, you ensure that product data in the system is maintained correctly, completely, and uniformly. You form the communicative interface between design, production, purchasing, and customer service, ensuring clear, consistent data structures. With your contribution, you create the basis for smooth processes, stable production, and informed decisions.

Responsibilities

Your tasks and areas of responsibility:

  • Maintenance and upkeep of master material data in SAP ERP
  • Creation and maintenance of bills of materials and routings
  • Translation of technical drawings into structured SAP data
  • Definition and further development of master data and production standards
  • Conducting feasibility analyses (Make-or-Buy)
  • Processing of the internal technical change process
  • Support of specialist departments through data analyses and queries

Qualifications

Your experience and qualifications:

  • Completed technical training (HTL or comparable)
  • Sound experience with SAP ERP (master data, bills of materials, routings)
  • Very good technical understanding (reading drawings)
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word
  • Understanding of production processes and workflows
  • Structured, precise, and self-reliant way of working
  • Good German and English skills

Salary

Annual gross salary starting from € 70,000 (38.5 hours/week, KV Metallgewerbe, no all-in) with the willingness to pay more, depending on prior experience and qualifications.
