Your Mission

In your role as Industrial Engineer (w/m/d), you will shape the material flow and production strategy of our plants, thereby creating the foundation for efficient, scalable, and future-proof manufacturing. You will combine technological innovation with Lean principles and consistently align production concepts with customer and application requirements. Together with R&D, process engineering, and production, you will drive the industrialization of demanding high-tech and medical applications and accompany products from idea to series production. This is how you make a difference:

  • Shape Value Streams: Develop holistic value stream and material flow concepts according to Lean principles.
  • Rethink Production: Conceive forward-looking and robust production concepts for pre-series, ramp-up, and high-volume production.
  • Set Standards: Define manufacturing and plant standards for high-tech and medical technology applications.
  • Design Capacities: Dimension machine and personnel capacities based on volume, cycle times, and product portfolio.
  • Evaluate Technologies: Analyze new, alternative, or disruptive manufacturing technologies and evaluate their industrial applicability.
  • Implement Investments: Prepare investment and release processes, provide technical support, and review their effectiveness.

What You Bring

  • Methodical Expertise: Very good knowledge in process design, value stream mapping, and production concepts.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of manufacturing technologies, applications, and technical limitations.
  • Lean Expertise: Confident and practical application of Lean methods and continuous improvement approaches.
  • Economic Thinking: Targeted use of basic knowledge in controlling, cost accounting, and investment appraisal.
  • Project Strength: Structured coordination of interdisciplinary teams and maintaining an overview in complex projects.
  • Communication Skills: Confident in the international environment with very good English skills.
