About the role

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in industries such as automotive, fabrication, electronics, and manufacturing. - Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. - Generate leads through cold calling, site visits, exhibitions, and references. - Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.

Technical Support & Solution Selling:

- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable laser machine solutions (cutting, engraving, welding, marking). - Provide pre-sales technical consultation and post-sales support. - Coordinate with application and service teams for machine trials and installations.

Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain robust relationships with existing and new clients. - Handle customer queries, negotiations, and closing deals. - Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Market Intelligence:

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies. - Provide feedback to management for product improvements and strategy planning.

Documentation & Reporting:

- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales reports. - Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline updates.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - MBA in Sales/Marketing (preferred but not mandatory).

Required Skills:

- Strong technical knowledge of industrial machines (laser cutting, CNC, automation preferred). - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to understand engineering drawings and applications. - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. - Willingness to travel extensively.

Experience:

- 2–6 years of experience in industrial equipment/machinery sales (preferably laser or CNC machines).
