Mechanical Site Leader

About

For an industrial automation customer active across Europe, we are searching for a Mechanical Site Leader to be responsible for the installation and commissioning of their transport systems. Work is 100 % on‑site with customers (mostly across France and in Brussels). Most assignments are completed in 1–2 weeks, meaning up to 100 nights away from home per year. All travel and accommodation costs are expensed to the customer.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of conveyors on the various sites
• Moving industrial lines
• Point of contact for customer and subcontractors
• Support automation engineers during commissioning
• Collaborate with the project leader to find solutions to implementation problems

Profile

• Fluent in French and English
• Secondary diploma in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Possession of a driving licence B
• Comfortable with frequent travel abroad
• Engineering background helpful but not essential
