Your Role

We are looking for an IT Security Engineer (m/f/d) as soon as possible. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the IT Security Manager in technical matters, further developing existing IT security systems, and integrating new ones.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop proposals for the consolidation and optimization of existing IT security systems
• Manage comprehensive patch and vulnerability management
• Build/introduce suitable IT security technologies (e.g., Cloud Security)
• Perform second-level support for all IT security systems and ensure the maintenance of technical documentation
• Build and conduct security and awareness training

Qualifications

• Completed training in the IT field or comparable qualifications acquired elsewhere
• Comprehensive knowledge in a heterogeneous IT environment
• Experience with technical IT security solutions (e.g., EDR/XDR) and handling patch management
• Sound network knowledge and knowledge of network security technology
• Good understanding of security concepts and protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Very good German and good English skills
