Role Overview
Are you a next‑generation Security / Disaster Recovery Analyst who is technically curious, confident, and ready to take ownership? This is not a maintenance role. You will help define how Disaster Recovery is done, act as the champion for DR, and leave a visible stamp on standards used globally.
You’ll join a high‑impact Group Information Security function with the mandate to influence senior stakeholders and drive meaningful change from HQ.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and champion Disaster Recovery and Service Continuity for enterprise IT services
- Define and maintain global DR standards, toolkits and control requirements
- Review infrastructure, architecture and operational processes through a resilience lens
- Provide clear risk and outage impact overviews to IT and security leadership
- Drive improvements in DR readiness, recovery objectives and testing
- Act as the authoritative voice for DR governance across the organisation
- Support application and infrastructure security assessments and risk reviews
- Contribute to and enhance the global security training and awareness programme
- Introduce automation, scripting and modern approaches where they add value
The Profile We’re Looking For
- Driven analyst mindset with confidence to take ownership and responsibility
- 2–4 years’ experience in enterprise DR / Service Continuity environments
- Strong understanding of risk management, outages and resilience trade‑offs
- Comfortable reviewing architecture and infrastructure, not just documentation
- Experience working in large, complex or globally distributed organisations
- Exposure to or background in consultancy or advisory roles is highly valued
- Interest or hands-on experience with scripting / automation (e.g. Python, PowerShell)
- Strong communicator, able to challenge constructively and influence stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, Cybersecurity or related field
- Security or resilience certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, EDRP are a plus
- Working knowledge of ISO27001, ISO22301, GDPR or similar frameworks
