Responsibilities
- Team lead for Information Assurance (IA) efforts across enterprise networks and systems.
- Support system certification and accreditation (C&A) processes, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and frameworks.
- Plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security measures to safeguard systems, networks, and data.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and identify security risks across systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.
- Ensure appropriate security controls are in place to protect digital assets and critical infrastructure.
- Lead the development and maintenance of IA documentation to support system certification and compliance efforts.
- Perform analysis, integration, testing, and maintenance of secure network and system environments.
- Guide teams in secure system design, test planning, execution, and implementation of cybersecurity mechanisms.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in information assurance, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting all phases of IA and cybersecurity for DoD Component enterprise‑wide IT systems.
- At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in:
- Secure network and system design
- Security analysis and risk assessment
- Test procedure development and execution
- Implementation of computer and network security mechanisms
- Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and accreditation processes.
- Proven ability to lead cybersecurity efforts in complex, enterprise‑level environments.
- 5 years of experience in all phases of IA accreditation process for TOP SECRET networks.
- Active CISSP or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP).
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Mission Systems Network Engineering initiatives.
- Experience supporting NAVAIR/NAWCAD network engineering projects.
Security Clearance
- Active DoD TOP SECRET.
Education
- B.S. in a technical discipline (desired).
Work Schedule
- Onsite, Monday‑Friday.
