We're partnered with a defense tech startup building mission-critical software for the U.S. military — systems that have to work in the most contested environments on earth.

They're hiring their first ISSE.

This isn't a compliance seat inside a large bureaucracy. You'll own the entire software authorization function — end-to-end, from the ground up. RMF lifecycle, ATO documentation, and building automation into the process over time. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with engineers deploying software into real operational environments — not theoretical ones.

Long-term path toward CISO as the company scales.

What We're Looking For

• U.S. Citizenship - Clearance will be required
• Have personally driven ATO packages to authorization — not just supported them
• Know eMASS or XACTA, ACAS/Nessus, and DISA STIGs natively
• Have held a U.S. security clearance at some point
• Thrive building from scratch, not inheriting someone else's playbook
