TeleSolv Consulting is seeking an experienced Information Technology Project Manager to support enterprise-level system implementations and modernization efforts in a dynamic government environment.

This position supports the federal government, and is a Remote role but candidates must be available for quarterly on-site work.

The Information Technology Project Manager plays a critical role in leading complex IT initiatives that drive large-scale system transformation and modernization. This role is responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget. The Project Manager collaborates closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to ensure successful implementation of mission-critical systems.

This position supports Government programs focused on technology modernization, including system transformation, provider systems, and enterprise IT initiatives. The Project Manager contributes to efforts that enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and ensure compliance with evolving program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Experience supporting Provider Enrollment and Credentialing systems within healthcare or government environments
• Direct involvement in MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System) modernization initiatives
• Familiarity with Medicaid HR-1 and related healthcare system implementations
• Ability to manage and adapt to multiple concurrent IT implementation projects with shifting priorities
• Proven experience working in dynamic environments where project scope evolves based on agency needs
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, eligibility, and provider management workflows
• Experience supporting large-scale system transformations in government or public sector programs
• Ability to quickly ramp up on new initiatives as project portfolios expand or change
• Demonstrated flexibility in managing non-exhaustive and continuously evolving project pipelines
• Lead cross-functional teams of business analysts, data analysts, and technical staff to deliver IT transformation projects.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of enterprise information systems.
• Define business and technical requirements in collaboration with product owners, subject matter experts, and development teams.
• Manage large-scale, complex IT projects as well as smaller initiatives simultaneously.
• Coordinate efforts between internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Support business and operational teams with system analysis, testing, and validation activities.
• Prepare detailed project status reports, risk assessments, and executive-level documentation.
• Ensure proper project governance, monitoring, and compliance with established standards.
• Maintain accountability for project timelines, scope, and budget performance.
• Mentor and train staff on project management best practices and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience.
• Must be able and willing to travel to the location once a quarter as needed.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex IT implementation projects.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps.
• Proven ability to apply project management and governance principles effectively.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive-level reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
