IT Project Manager

We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology projects from kickoff through completion within the Manufacturing sector. In this role, you’ll work closely with business teams, technical teams, and external vendors to keep projects moving forward, aligned with business goals, and delivered on time and within budget.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategy, communication, and hands-on project execution while navigating cross-functional environments. You’ll help drive initiatives related to infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems integration, data, and enterprise technology solutions while ensuring projects stay organized, well-communicated, and properly governed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT projects through the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to closeout.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to define project goals, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans, including milestones, dependencies, schedules, and resource coordination.
• Facilitate communication across teams and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, cybersecurity, architecture, data, and external partners to support project execution.
• Monitor project performance related to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies early and drive resolution plans when challenges arise.
• Manage project changes through established change control processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance standards, documentation requirements, and operational readiness expectations.
• Support vendor and system integrator activities to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Lead project closeout activities including lessons learned, documentation handoff, and operational transition support.
• Provide accurate reporting related to project status, forecasts, financials, and resource planning.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience managing IT or enterprise technology projects in a cross-functional environment.
• Manufacturing sector experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities, timelines, and project teams simultaneously.
• Experience working with project governance, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management processes.
• Familiarity with infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems integration, or enterprise applications is a plus.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• PMP certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification within a defined timeframe.
