About the role
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Technical Recruiter with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing talent acquisition team. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top IT talent across a variety of technical roles. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of technical skill sets and recruiting best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand technical staffing needs, role requirements, and team goals
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and other recruiting tools
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews to evaluate technical skills, experience, and cultural fit
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, scheduling interviews, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of IT candidates (e.g., software developers, QA engineers, DevOps, infrastructure, data roles)
- Provide an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Track and report recruiting metrics using ATS systems
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and talent market conditions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in IT or technical recruiting
- Familiarity with technical roles such as software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or data analytics
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting in a staffing agency or consulting environment
- Basic understanding of programming languages and technologies (e.g., Java, Python, .NET, cloud platforms)
- Experience with Boolean search techniques
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
