Infrastructure and Security Engineer (m/w/d) - J14803

Overview

You will work in a stable IT environment with plenty of room for personal development and further training. You will manage complex system landscapes and work with virtualization and Microsoft technology groups such as VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, and Active Directory, as well as modern security solutions. Your Tasks

• Develop and implement infrastructure and security solutions for internal processes and customer scenarios
• Install and configure server and virtualization environments both remotely and on-site
• Plan, accompany, and document IT projects and rollouts
• Support users and internal teams in second/third-level support
• Monitor and maintain network, storage, and security components
• Coordinate external service providers and liaise with internal interfaces
• Participate in the optimization of deployments and automation steps

Your Profile

• Completed IT training or comparable practical experience in system environments
• Initial practical knowledge of Microsoft server technologies and common virtualization solutions
• Familiarity with security solutions and firewall basics
• Good communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork
• Willingness for occasional on-site customer deployments and factual documentation
• Motivation for continuous further training and openness to new tools and processes
