The Opportunity
We are building the next generation of cloud‑native infrastructure to build a system that will have a positive impact on the intelligence community (IC). We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. If you have a passion for automation, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes, and you're excited to use the latest open‑source tools, this is the role for you. As a senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer on our team, you will use your development experience to build, deploy, and manage a cloud‑agnostic platform for a multi‑tenant environment. You will collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, reliable, and cost‑efficient infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless operation and deployment of cloud‑native applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or software engineering in a cloud environment
- Experience in Kubernetes architecture, deployment, management, container orchestration, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm for Kubernetes, or Terragrunt
- Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux server systems in the Cloud
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Knowledge of AWS services and how to integrate them with Kubernetes
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA‑Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date
Nice to Have
- Experience with scripting or object‑oriented programming in Bash, Python, Groovy, or Golang
- Experience with Kubernetes Operators, Rancher, and RKE2
- Experience using or managing ArgoCD, Grafana, ElasticSearch, and Prometheus
- Experience with Pulumi or Crossplane
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer Certification
- Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA‑Security, or GSEC Certification
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Projected compensation range: $86,800 – $198,000 (annualized USD)
