About the role

Overview

As part of our international development team, you will work on software solutions for modern measurement and sensor technologies that contribute to the monitoring of critical infrastructures. You will design robust, real-time capable components for edge environments and bring pragmatic innovation to complex system landscapes. Technically, you will work with programming languages and toolchains such as C++, Go, Python, as well as container and CI/CD technologies. Your Tasks

  • Develop software components for integrating measurement and sensor data into internal system landscapes.
  • Implement interfaces and reliable protocol connections for secure data transmission.
  • Optimize algorithms for real-time evaluation and data preparation in edge environments.
  • Plan and accompany deployments on Linux-based edge and embedded systems.
  • Consider security and safety aspects during design, testing, and operation.
  • Coordinate discussions with internal interfaces from technology, purchasing, and quality.
  • Create understandable project documentation and status reports for technical traceability.

Your Profile

  • Technical degree in computer science, embedded systems, or comparable.
  • Several years of practical experience in software development, ideally 0–3 years of professional experience.
  • Proficient with at least one statically typed language like C++, Go, or C# and use Python for data processing and automation.
  • Knowledge of Linux system administration, logging, monitoring, and system configuration.
  • Experience with containers and CI/CD workflows, such as Docker and GitLab CI, as well as relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of concurrency, asynchronous programming, and basic distributed system patterns.
  • Fluent in German and English for technical coordination.
