Your Role

You will work agilely in a team of experienced specialists and provide hybrid platform services for our stream-aligned teams. Your commitment will ensure that collaboration between product teams and the platform runs seamlessly.

Responsibilities

• Concept, build, integration, and operation of secure, scalable platform services
• Development and maintenance of our monitoring/observability platform
• Ensuring the availability of platform services
• Planning, selection, evaluation, and operation of the required hardware and software products
• Definition of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Automation of tasks for our datacenter resources
• Collaboration with platform and DevOps engineers on-prem and in the cloud

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience as a Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, or in a comparable, infrastructure-focused role.
• Practical experience with at least three of the following solutions: vSphere, Morpheus, Kubernetes with RKE2, RHEL, IPA, AWX, Satellite, Rundeck, Icinga, Prometheus, ELK.
• Confident use of Git and sound knowledge of on-prem and cloud technologies, CI/CD processes, and Infrastructure as Code approaches (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Solution-oriented, pragmatic approach with a hands-on mentality and a high standard of quality.
• Openness to innovation, agile mindset, and a strong culture of continuous improvement.
• Strong service and customer orientation, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical content understandably and collaborate effectively with various teams.
• Proven very good German language skills (C1) and good English language skills (B2).

• Working hours: Full-time (35 hours/week)
• Contract type: Permanent
