Assistant Site Superintendent

About the Role

Support major infrastructure projects as an Assistant Site Superintendent. Oversee operations, ensure quality, and facilitate efficient teamwork while enforcing safety standards on-site.

This role requires effective collaboration with the Site Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and to high standards. You will coordinate daily construction activities, monitor subcontractor performance, and enforce health and safety regulations. With responsibilities spanning scheduling to real-time problem solving, this position plays a vital role in the success of large-scale developments.

• Ensure timely project delivery and adherence to standards
• Oversee on-site construction and supervise subcontractors
• Enforce health and safety protocols effectively
• Maintain daily records and project documentation
• Communicate updates to stakeholders regularly

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in construction
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with OH&S standards and safety practices
