Your Role

We are looking for a Software Architect (m/f/d) for Land and Marine on a permanent basis.

Your Challenges:

• Participation in the development of software solutions in C/C++
• Design, conception, and continuous further development of the software architecture
• Definition of software modules, interfaces, and communication structures
• Creation and maintenance of architectural and system documentation, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant norms and standards
• Definition of software quality criteria and architectural guidelines
• Conducting architecture reviews, risk analyses, and FMEA, as well as developing and defining test strategies
• Creation of architecture roadmaps and active risk management
• Close coordination with product management, customers, and internal stakeholders

Your Qualifications:

• You have a completed university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Microsystems Engineering, or Embedded Systems, or a comparable degree.
• You have relevant experience in software architecture and object-oriented development in C++.
• You have knowledge in the field of sensor technology and agile development methods, as well as practical experience with Embedded Linux.
• You have very good English skills, both written and spoken.
• A certification such as iSAQB or a comparable qualification is an advantage.
• You have basic knowledge of bus systems and interfaces (CAN, serial interfaces, Ethernet).
• Initiative and a sense of responsibility, as well as communication skills and team spirit, complete your profile.
