Your Role

Joining the quality engineering group, an entity transversal to the electronic, software, mechanical, and optical developments of SAFRAN Electronics & Defense, you will work within the team dedicated to monitoring the development of critical boards, FPGAs, and software.

With product curiosity and strong interpersonal skills, you will be the quality support for the electronic and software project teams to ensure the demonstrations of conformity of our developments to customer requirements and applicable standards.

Responsibilities

In this context, you will:

• Define and adjust the quality program to the constraints of the project and the electronic and/or software product environment;
• Support/coach teams on the application of engineering processes and ensure their application;
• Be a driving force in identifying areas for improvement and resolving process/product issues;
• Ensure effective communication with the quality entities of our clients and authorities.

You have experience in the field of electronic and/or software development or quality engineering and are eager to continue developing your skills. In a responsible decision-making role, you will develop with us:

• Your technical knowledge in software and electronic engineering

Preferred Skills and Experience

The skills and experience appreciated for this position are:

• Knowledge of reference systems such as DO-178, DO-254, ARP-4754, IEC 12207, IEC 61508 and the associated aeronautical certification processes
• Use of tools including:
  • CM Synergy and Change Synergy, GIT, Redmine, SVN, JIRA
  • Doors , Reqtify
  • Languages C, ADA, Verilog, VHDL
