Role

IT Security Engineer (80‑100%)

The Security Engineer designs, implements and manages security solutions, ensuring an effective defense against cyber threats or data theft.

Responsibilities

• Threat detection
• Vulnerability analysis
• Handling support tickets
• Implementing security controls and related solutions (data leakage prevention, vulnerability management, security hardening, public key infrastructure, secrets management, privileged access management and endpoint security)
• Educating staff on best practices
• Conduct and/or contribute to security projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree computer engineering, security engineering or a relevant field. Master degree is an engineering school is a plus
• Strong interest in IT security, continuous learning, secure engineering practices and threat modeling, IT market trends
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud, Microsoft 365 services and hybrid cloud services
• Excellent command of automation, scripting, Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) principles, common software architecture patterns, networking protocols and technologies
• Fluency in English and French
