Engineering Minds Munich GmbH develops innovative electronic solutions for demanding applications in space travel. In interdisciplinary project teams, we work on the conception, development, and verification of modern space systems – from the idea to the qualified product.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of project and system requirements and active shaping of technical concepts
• Development and implementation of digital and analog electronic modules for space applications
• Design and implementation of FPGA-based systems (e.g., VHDL), including interfaces, control logic, and data paths
• Design, simulation, and commissioning of analog circuits for precise signal acquisition and processing
• Development, integration, and maintenance of embedded software (e.g., in C) for microcontroller and FPGA systems
• Selection and design of components as well as support for PCB design and reviews
• Integration, verification, and testing of hardware, FPGA, and software components
• Analysis of test results, troubleshooting, and optimization of existing designs
• Creation of technical documentation and close collaboration with project, system, and test engineers

Depending on experience and training, you will gradually take on more technical responsibility or contribute your know-how directly to complex development decisions.

Your Profile

• Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or a comparable degree program
• Knowledge in FPGA design (e.g., VHDL), embedded systems, or electronics development
• Knowledge of low-level communication protocols such as UART, I2C, or SPI
• Independent, structured way of working, as well as teamwork skills
