I am supporting the establishment of a new field for Operational Quality Assurance in the context of technically complex projects by introducing digital solutions and standardizing quality assurance approaches.

Why this job is interesting to me

Network expansion at 50Hertz means building kilometers of overhead lines and cable routes, as well as substations and special facilities in the transmission network. In the Technical Planning & Realization competence area, expertise in construction and electrical engineering is bundled. We are responsible for addressing technical issues in 50Hertz's various investment projects and focus on providing the best possible input from our specialist expertise – from planning to commissioning of the many technically highly complex projects. I am actively involved in standardizing quality assurance measures and shaping technical topics in close exchange with my team colleagues.

My Tasks

• I will play a significant role in the development and further development of operational quality assurance and contribute my technical expertise to aligning it with corporate needs.
• Close collaboration with the teams of the Technical Planning and Realization Competence Center and interface areas within 50Hertz, fostering technical exchange.
• Conception, planning, and control of complex audits and quality checks with manufacturers and service providers.
• Accompanying these until the sustainable implementation of measures together with the project managers and technical experts.
• I will actively drive the further development of methods and processes in the areas of audits, inspections, and acceptances.
• Furthermore, I will be involved in the digitalization of process steps and participate in the conception and
• Implementation of IT solutions for quality assurance, particularly in the form of databases and dashboards.
• I will continuously identify potential improvements in quality management and drive their implementation together with the relevant interfaces.

My Competencies

• Successfully completed Master's degree in an engineering or natural science program (e.g., Electrical Engineering / Energy Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering) or a business degree with a technical focus (Industrial Engineering, MBA, Process Management, Quality Management / Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics).
• Several years of experience (at least 5 years) in planning and conducting audits, inspections, and acceptances.
• Sound knowledge in the design of databases and in the development of user-oriented dashboards for data visualization and analysis.
• Sound knowledge of the relevant standards and regulations in the area of responsibility.
• Driving license and willingness to undertake occasional business trips.
• Very good German skills (min. C1) and good English skills (min. B2) in spoken and written form.

• Basic knowledge of the economic, technical, and legal framework conditions of the energy industry.
