Your Daily Life

Located 20 minutes from the Paris-Saclay Technology Hub, the site is one of the largest surface radar centers of excellence. We contribute to developing, designing, integrating, and testing air surveillance radars for detecting and identifying targets.

Your Profile?

You have skills in mathematics (signal and data processing, probabilities) and physics of electromagnetic phenomena, which will enable you to master signal generation models and radar processing.

Computer science or algorithmics interests you, and you are comfortable with software development using high-level languages like Matlab or Python, as well as software engineering principles (GIT, ...).

Ideally, you have initial experience in radar processing or in developing functional simulation chains for complex systems.

Autonomy, curiosity, and teamwork are among your skills.

Your Missions:

Within the Advanced Radar Concepts department, the Simulation service constantly evolves its radar systems modeling and analysis software.

In this context, you will participate in the development of this software and the design of new models. You will be responsible for the entire software lifecycle, from requirements specification to validation with internal or external clients.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Radar modeling
• Gaining expertise in environment models (targets, clutter, propagation) as well as radar processing and their modeling
• Mastering our various tools and software in this context
• Being proactive in improving existing functionalities and introducing new functionalities into our simulators
• Ensuring technical coordination
• Working towards the capitalization and consistency of different models
• Sharing and guiding technical choices within the simulation development team
• Leading exchange meetings with software users.
